Fourtillfour Cafe
7105 E 1st Ave, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
As an automotive enthusiast, this is my go-to for morning espresso. Every morning. Rumor has it they're opening their second location in none other than Encinitas, CA.
Press Coffee
15257 N Scottsdale Rd Scottsdale Quarter Mall Building F, Ste 160, Scottsdale, AZ 85260
These guys know what they're doing when it comes to a pour over coffee. This is also what's often served at local restaurants which is great.
Olive & Ivy
7135 E Camelback Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Located right by the waterfront, I love the vibe of this place. The service has been great every time which is why I've now been there three times. I have had everything on offer at this point: brunch, lunch and dinner here. All three meals have been great. Unless you plan on going to POMO (below) the pizza here is also a safe option.
Canal Club
4925 N Scottsdale Rd, Scottsdale, AZ 85251
Located inside The Scott Resort & Spa, my wife and I went here for Sunday brunch. We sat outside in the back and not only enjoyed the food, but also the live acoustic guitarist as well!
The Henry
4455 E Camelback Rd, Phoenix, AZ 85018
Great for breakfast or lunch. I actually had one of the better salads with grilled chicken I've ever had in my life here.
POMO Pizzeria
705 N 1st St UNIT 120, Phoenix, AZ 85004
There are two locations, but we went to the one in downtown Phoenix. The gelato is also great there - perhaps a local's secret even, but the pizza is great.
