Gardens by the Bay
18 Marina Gardens Dr, Singapore 018953
If you've seen Crazy Rich Asians, then you've seen this amazing outdoor space before. It's really unlike anything I've been to before, including the Botanical Garden and indoor waterfall. I would certainly suggest setting aside a several hours to walk around and explore this place.
Atlas Bar
600 North Bridge Rd, Singapore 188778
This Art Deco space is absolutely breathtaking. The amount of detail in the cieling is insane. Its vast interior is a great place to grab drinks, and it's also the kind of place where I imagine "Power Lunches occur. It's also very conveniently located within walking distance to the Raffles Hotel.
Marina Bay Sands
10 Bayfront Ave, Singapore 018956
I read about this hotel back in 2010 when it opened and had wanted to stay there ever since. Fortunately, the opportunity came in September 2019 and it didn't disappoint. First of all, it's huge. In 2017, there was a documentary that came out called "Amazing Hotels: Life Beyond the Lobby" featuring the Marina Bay Sands and it's worth the watch. It's virtually a city within its walls, and if you look while offering the best view of the city from the infinity edge rooftop pool. Beside the pool are several restaurants/bars which also offer views for days, so even if you don't stay there, I'd highly recommend having drinks and/or eating dinner up there. The Marina Bay Sands is also where Patek Philippe hosted their 2019 Watch Art Grand Exhibition which I sadly missed by only 6 days.
Raffles Hotel
1 Beach Rd, Singapore 189673
A beautiful symmetrical white structure in a very Wes Anderson way, the Raffles has an incredibly rich history and perhaps most known for the creation of the Singapore Sling at their Long Bar. The hotel completed a renovation within the last several years, and it's wonderfully welcoming. The hotel's arcade offer fantastic shopping and the service is second to none.
Fullerton Hotel
1 Fullerton Square, Singapore 049178
Across the bay from Marina Bay Sands is the Fullerton Hotel. A 5 Star hotel famous for their High Tea service. The hotel is housed in an old post office making it a really cool building.
